Is Raj Yoga Rishikesh accredited?

Yes, we are a fully registered Yoga Alliance School (RYS 200 & RYS 300). Our certification is recognized globally, allowing you to teach anywhere in the world after graduation.

Where is the school located?

Our school is located in Tapovan, a serene and spiritual area of Rishikesh, India, known as the "Yoga Capital of the World." It's nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, near the sacred Ganges River.

Course & Training

Is the 200-hour course suitable for complete beginners?

Absolutely. Our 200-hour program is designed as a foundational course for all levels. While some prior experience is helpful, it is not required. We welcome dedicated students who have a strong desire to learn and immerse themselves in the yogic path.

What style of yoga is taught?

Our curriculum is rooted in traditional yoga, focusing primarily on Hatha Yoga for alignment and foundational postures, and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga for dynamic flow and sequencing. This blend provides a comprehensive and balanced understanding of asana practice.

What does a typical day look like?

A typical day is immersive and structured to deepen your practice. It generally includes morning meditation and pranayama, two asana classes (Hatha/Ashtanga), lectures on philosophy and anatomy, teaching methodology workshops, and evening programs like chanting or kirtan.

What is included in the course fee?

Our residential course fees are all-inclusive. This covers your full tuition, comprehensive course manuals, Yoga Alliance certification, comfortable accommodation (private or shared), three daily sattvic vegetarian meals, and airport pickup from Dehradun (DED) Airport.

What is your refund policy?

The initial course deposit is non-refundable. However, in case of emergencies, we allow students to transfer their deposit to any other course scheduled within one year of the original booking date.

How do I get to the school?

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport (DED) in Dehradun, and we provide complimentary pickup from there. Rishikesh is also well-connected by train (RKSH station) and by road from major cities like Delhi and Haridwar.
